Alison, who owns the property, contacted us at the end of 2024 to explain that the roof of only six years had failed and she needed to have a roofing contractor repair it.
With our base in Fort William, we cover most of the western Highlands and, due to our reputation in the area, Alison approached us and explained it was important to have a reliable company that could commit to some tight deadlines.
This was agreed in January, so we could arrive late morning when guests had moved out to then let us take two days to erect the structure, and we added a small section at the front to allow some sealant repair works to be carried out.
This has truly been a wonderful build, Alison allowed Dean and Ritchie to stay for the two nights and they have fresh pizza from the pizza oven and took the boat out on the Loch. A wonderful experience to tie in working with lovely clients and an excellent roofing contractor, but to then also have the evenings to relax and absorb the amazing scenery.
